WindWizard
WindWizard is an intelligent weather forecast application. By combining real-time weather data with your personal riding preferences, the app instantly filters local kitesurf spots and recommends the perfect location.
WindWizard was available in the AppStore from 2020 to 2023.

The main landing page highlights WindWizards' core feature: a personalized algorithm that analyzes your preferred wind direction, wind speed, wave height, and travel distance to curate your top spot recommendations for the next six days. Each recommendation includes a quick overview of the forecasted conditions, making planning your next surf trip easier than ever.
Forecasts
WindWizards draws forecast data from the American GEFS and the German ICON (DWD) models, using their varying resolutions and forecast horizons. It then analyzes both models to generate its own custom prediction.
Map
The interactive map plots WindWizards' database of over 3,500 spots, complete with a dynamic wind overlay. Wind speed is color-coded for quick scanning, while overlaid arrows indicate direction. Users can manually scrub through hours and days or hit play to watch the forecast animate automatically over time.
